Articling student, Katelyn Chaudhary, returns to AMLC

AMLC is pleased to welcome its newest articling student, Katelyn Chaudhary, back to the team. 

Katelyn summered at AMLC before graduating from Thompson Rivers University. During her time at law school, she volunteered for the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and completed placements with Kamloops Pride for Pro Bono Students Canada as a Project Lead. She was awarded the Law Foundation Public Interest Award for her active involvement in access to justice initiatives. Katelyn will complete her articles with the firm from August 2023 to May 2024.

Meet Natalie, our new Associate

AMLC is pleased to announce that Natalie Chan has joined the firm as an associate.

Natalie is a 2021 call, and has worked as a civil and commercial litigator since her call to the bar.  After splitting time between Canada and Hong Kong growing up, Natalie completed her law degree at City University of Hong Kong, followed by an LLM at UBC. Natalie speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin.

Kaitlyn Meyer appointed Counsel by AMLC

Allen / McMillan is pleased to announce that, effective January 1, 2023, Kaitlyn Meyer has been appointed Counsel. Kaitlyn joined the firm in 2019, just one year after its inception, and quickly became an irreplaceable member of the team. Appointment as Counsel reflects Kaitlyn’s senior status at the firm and her dual role as a senior lawyer providing advice and advocacy services to the firm’s clients as well as mentorship and guidance to the firm’s younger lawyers. In her new role, Kaitlyn will also be taking on a greater leadership role within the firm. Congratulations, Kaitlyn!

Meet Emma Coffin, our new Associate

AMLC is pleased to announce that Emma Coffin has joined the firm as an associate.

Emma graduated from Peter A. Allard School of Law and was called to the bar in 2021. Before joining AMLC, she articled and practiced as a commercial litigation associate at a top regional firm. Prior to attending law school, Emma worked for several years in corporate communications and business development in the mining industry, including acting as the Vice President of Corporate Development for a marketing firm.
