Mia Stewart
ASSOCIATE
After graduating from undergrad, Mia worked at a high-end clothing store, and has found that her skill at placating a grumpy customer in search of the perfect cardigan has many applications within a law firm.
Mia is a graduate of the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. During her time in law school she worked at a boutique law firm in Halifax, before returning to her roots in Vancouver to article at AMLC. She has represented clients at all levels of court in British Columbia, and may be the only articling student in the history of this province to make an appearance at the Supreme Court of Canada just 45 minutes after being called to the bar. At AMLC, Mia is developing her practice in commercial and real estate litigation.
Outside of the office, Mia enjoys travelling with her partner and developing an encyclopedic knowledge of television shows that were popular before she was born. She sees this as a perfectly cromulent pastime.
